I created a few videos for my work as a graduate assistant, which is linked in the images and the titles of each entry. Adobe Premiere is the editing software I am the most comfortable with.
I participated in my high school’s video production club and used those skills to create videos for the robotics team I was on. Although I haven’t had the opportunity to create a massive portfolio throughout my college education or professional career, I enjoy producing video content when I get the chance to do so.
WORK 01
BSU MA and MAT Programs
I wrote, presented, filmed, and edited this video. In my first semester as a graduate assistant, I visited classrooms in person to tell student about the English MA and MAT programs. The final three semesters, however, were at the mercy of COVID-19. This video was distributed to senior seminar professors and students as an alternative to in-person classroom visits.
WORK 02
BSU English Faculty Congratulate the Class of 2020
Another piece that emerged in the wake of COVID-19. I collected videos taken by various professors in the department to create this compilation video as a congratulations to a class that didn’t experience a traditional graduation ceremony. This has nearly 6,000 views on the departmental Facebook page and was received well by faculty and staff alike.
WORK 03
Photojournalism Project – Secret of the Sound
This was a video (that Youtube refused to upload in HD) that I made for a video production class I took in my freshman year of college.
